In the lead up to the AO, I watched a lot of Border Security and now I think of it when I see tennis players being interviewed/interrogated with their bags nearby:
Were you wearing pyjamas, Serena? At least your outfit was versatile. Some people say that Nike’s outfits looked like they were inspired by finger paintings. To me, they looked like the players vommed in their tennis gear.
Those motorised umpires chairs were fancy:
I would expect nothing less for the gold star umpire Marija Cicak. She’s a silver fox with eyes like a hawk. This pic reminds me of a meme, which one is it again? Oh yeah, this one:

I was hoping for Ash Barty to play Harriet Dart so it could have been called the Barty Darty Party. #onecandream
One can also dream of better eyesight as there were some real fails in the challenge department:

This year saw Caroline Wozniacki play her last ever match. I attended her farewell presentation where upon first glance, I thought she was Taylor Swift. Surely I could be forgiven because I saw a blonde girl wearing a long dress at Rod Laver Arena. My request for her to play Love Story sadly fell on deaf ears. In the tribute video, almost every player said that she is “a fighter”, which made me think of scrag fights:
All of these other things helped take away the spotlight from Margaret Court, which I honestly think was best for everyone. I wonder if this match happened on her arena?
I mean, that's when tennis was actually played there, opposed to some Fortnite tournament that was held on the last day of the AO. #holyground

Big props to Tennis Australia for walking a fine line about the Margaret thing while acting upon their values of inclusion and diversity. Yew!
